D.C.-based Results for America, an organization that promotes evidence-driven policy decisions, announced a second cohort of its Local Government Fellowship last week. The yearlong fellowship is focused on using data to “improve outcomes for residents.”

In all, 15 local government employees were selected for the program — among them Philadelphia’s policy director, Baltimore’s budget director and the District’s very own chief performance officer, Jennifer Reed.

Reed originally joined the D.C. government in 2015 when she was appointed by Mayor Muriel Bowser as deputy budget director. She previously worked at the DC Fiscal Policy Institute and is acclaimed as an expert on tax policy, the D.C. budget and low-income housing.
