On November 7-9, 2018, Results for America’s Local Government Fellows convened in Washington D.C. to discuss applying evidence-based policymaking to the challenges that lie ahead, as well as to celebrate their accomplishments to date during the final convening of the cohort. Together, they explored change management strategies, shared insights for sustaining evidence-based work across administrations, and learned about the data processes of the U.S. Census Bureau.
The 3-day convening coincided with the release of the 2018 Results for America Invest in What Works Policy Series report which captures the accomplishments and lessons learned from the second phase of the Fellowship.
Throughout the convening the Fellows celebrated accomplishments, shared challenges, and provided constructive feedback with a community of peers, including through a panel event hosted at The Aspen Institute Center for Urban Innovation.

On November 9, 2018, Results for America and The Aspen Institute Center for Urban Innovation hosted a discussion with Mayors and other local government leaders about how they are using evidence and data to address critical local challenges and improve the lives of residents.
