Zakiyah Edmonds-Sills is the Associate of Operations & Planning at the What Works Cities initiative at Results for America. In her role, she supports initiative-wide operations by coordinating executive scheduling and meeting preparation, managing contracts and budgets, maintaining knowledge systems, and facilitating cross-team logistics that enable cities to strengthen their use of data and evidence.

Her background spans nonprofit operations, executive partnership, and community-centered program support. Zakiyah is especially motivated by building behind-the-scenes systems that allow mission-driven leaders to focus on impact and by ensuring operational clarity as initiatives scale across regions.

Zakiyah holds a Bachelor’s degree from Duke University and is committed to advancing data-driven solutions that expand opportunity and economic mobility.
