Valeria Garcia is a Program Assistant with Results for America’s Local Practice and Federal Policy Implementation teams. Most recently, Valeria worked as a climate water intern for a local environmental nonprofit where she participated in research and advocacy efforts focused on addressing environmental degradation and its potential impacts on vulnerable groups. This passion towards sustainability and centering community voices is largely driven by her own experience of growing up in a predominately low-income immigrant community where she witnessed firsthand just how impactful policy can be. For this reason, she is excited to work with RFA in identifying and supporting sustainable solutions that help give back to communities just like her own. She received her B.A. in International Relations from San Francisco State University.
