Sarah Rabovsky is the Director of Research at the Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE). She has been with TDOE since 2021 and oversees both internal research conducted by TDOE as well as partnerships with external researchers. Sarah works to conduct and leverage research to provide evidence-based strategies for improving outcomes for Tennessee’s students, educators, schools, and districts. She previously worked for a non-partisan political consulting firm focused on state level education policies in California. Sarah holds a Master of Science in Statistics, a Master of Public Policy, and is a PhD candidate in Urban Education Policy at the University of Southern California. She calls Nashville home.
