Manager, City Progress, What Works Cities
Samatha Nemana serves the What Works Cities team as a Manager. She has previously served as the Research Manager at 100 Resilient Cities, where she applied her research and data analysis skills to influence program planning, facilitate network learning, and illustrate program success and impact. Samatha holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and environmental studies and a master’s degree in environmental ethics from New York University. Throughout her professional and academic experiences, Samatha has advocated for the power of data in addressing critical urban and development challenges such as racial and gender inequities, climate change, and more.
