Patricia Nyquist serves as the Executive Director in the Center for Continuous Improvement at the Ohio Department of Education. The Center focuses on supporting schools and districts within Ohio through four offices: Office of Community Schools, Office of Federal Programs, Office for Improvement and Innovation, and the Office of Intensive Supports.  In addition, the Center focuses of continuous improvement efforts and partnerships across the state.

Prior to joining the Department of Education, Patricia served as a Director of Education Policy Research and Member Advocacy, Strategic Measures Specialist, Teacher on Special Assignment for School Improvement, Instructional Coach, and a classroom teacher.  Through work in these positions, Patricia has been able to support student and educator learning and strategies from the classroom to the state education association level.  Patricia is a lifelong learner and has earned her Ed.S. Instructional Leadership, Master in Curriculum and Instruction and undergraduate degree in Elementary Education.
