Monica Pepple, M.S.W., is passionate about using people-driven, inclusive research and evaluation to inform socially equitable policies and funding. In her current position as Research and Evaluation Manager for the City of Cincinnati’s Office of Performance and Data Analytics, she focuses on leading efforts to evaluate the effectiveness of city programs and policies and ensuring data-driven decision making. Prior to this, she served as a Legislative Financial Analyst with the New York City Council, where she monitored and evaluated gender-based equity and criminal justice reform programming investments and advised the Council Speaker and Members through the budget negotiation process. In her position as a Research Associate at Public Policy Associates, she provided program evaluation and policy assessment at the local, state, and federal level to a nationwide client base in areas of workforce development and education. Monica received a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan and holds a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Cincinnati; she holds over ten years of experience in direct service provision and community organization preceding her policy-based work.
