Jeff Edmondson is Executive Director of Community Mobilization at Ballmer Group, overseeing its support of community-based work across the country, as well as working with partners to develop and amplify best practices in this work.

Jeff is the former managing director of StriveTogether, where he facilitated the development and expansion of a national network of over 65 communities working to improve educational outcomes and helping children succeed from cradle to career. Jeff was founding executive director of the flagship Strive Partnership in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky in 2006, and their work became a national model for the concept of “collective impact” in 2010.

Jeff has been named an Ashoka Fellow, an Annie E. Casey Family and Children Fellow, and a Draper Richards Kaplan Social Entrepreneur. He received the 2012 American Express NGen Leadership Award, given annually to an individual under 40 who has made significant contributions to improving outcomes in the social sector.
