Chris Woolard is senior executive director for Accountability and Continuous Improvement for the Ohio Department of Education. His current work focuses on the implementation of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). Ohio School Report Cards, School improvement, development of data tools for educators and state- level policy research. Chris recently completed a fellowship with the Harvard Strategic Data Project and has previously received the Data Quality Campaign’s State Data Leader Award for promoting data use to improve student learning and achievement.
