Celina Ketelsen is a lifelong learner, dedicated educator and experienced leader with a core belief that all children have the ability and right to learn. Currently, Ms. Ketelsen serves as Director, Academic Excellence and Training with the Division of Teaching and Learning, at the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), where she leads a team of professional learning specialists supporting LEAs across the District. Prior to joining OSSE, Ms. Ketelsen was a school administrator as well as an instructional coach in the District of Columbia, where she endeavored to grow, lead and support educators through various academic professional sequences. In addition to her roles as a leader, she held positions as a special education and general education teacher. Ms. Ketelsen holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from Arizona State University, a M.Ed. in Special Education and Human Development and an Ed.S. in Bilingual Special Education from George Washington University.
