Our programming supports government leaders from the earliest stages of knowledge building through the implementation of evidence-based solutions. In our work to help more jurisdictions move from research to action, we prioritize being responsive to the needs of government leaders and decision-makers, working directly with expert partners to deliver useful tools and learning opportunities, and lifting up examples of successful replication and implementation efforts from a wide range of jurisdictions around the country.

Economic Mobility Catalog

The Economic Mobility Catalog helps local government leaders identify and implement evidence-based solutions to improve upward economic mobility in their communities. The Catalog is a free online resource that includes hundreds of easy-to-understand overviews of vetted, proven practices, programs and policies that span a range of economic mobility issue areas, along with a growing library of implementation-focused case studies and toolkits on how specific jurisdictions put evidence-based strategies into action.

Solutions Sprints and Replication Management

Results for America’s “Solutions Accelerator” develops and runs Solutions Sprints and other replication management programs to help local governments accelerate the adoption and implementation of evidence-based programs, policies and practices that have demonstrated success in helping jurisdictions across the country solve difficult challenges.

  • Solutions Sprints: 6- to 12-week virtual learning opportunities that provide cohorts of government leaders and community partners with time efficient, intensive and content-specific workshops to learn from subject matter experts and peers to accelerate the implementation of evidence-based solutions that advance economic mobility. RFA’s Solutions Sprints, in partnership with over 20 leading curriculum partners, have to date addressed topics, such as alternatives to emergency response, right to counsel for tenants facing eviction, and guaranteed income, among others, and this year will tackle topics including tenant screening protections and diversion programs.

  • Replication Management: Multi-year, multi-jurisdiction scaling plans for promising programs and practices in collaboration with governments and community organizations. To date, RFA’s replication management programming have included topics such as early language literacy and fines and fees justice.
