Results for America commends the leadership of the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions and the U.S. House Committee on Education and the Workforce for their efforts to advance the bipartisan A Stronger Workforce for America Act. This critical legislation, which would reauthorize the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), leverages evidence and data to enhance outcomes for America’s workers.
The bill incorporates many of Results for America’s recommended provisions, including defining evidence of effectiveness, improving workforce data systems and driving federal workforce dollars toward proven interventions.
We urge Congress to pass this legislation expeditiously to improve the outcomes for job seekers, workers, employers and taxpayers.
