Stephanie Graff oversees the work of the Office of Equity and Opportunity for the Minnesota Department of Education. The team provides leadership and support for school and district efforts focused on equitable opportunities and outcomes for all of Minnesota’s students. This work includes state and federal accountability efforts, district strategic planning and continuous improvement processes driven by the use of data, and district efforts to increase racial and economic integration.

Prior to assuming her current role, Stephanie was a federal education policy specialist and worked in the area of school improvement and turnaround. Before joining the department, Stephanie was a high school math and Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) teacher.

Stephanie graduated with two Bachelor of Sciences in marketing and management from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, and received a Master’s in public policy and leadership from the University of St. Thomas.
