Sophie Bergmann is the Senior Manager of Solutions where she leads team-wide planning and internal workflow and coordination efforts. She previously managed the What Works Cities Economic Mobility Initiative and supported the Local Government and What Works Nonprofit Fellowships at Results for America.

Before joining Results for America, Sophie served as a Confidential Assistant in the Office for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Education. Born and raised in North Carolina, Sophie holds a B.A. in Public Policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While completing her studies, she interned at Scholastic, the Hunt Institute, the Children’s Defense Fund, and the U.S. Department of Education in the Office of the Secretary.
