Sonja Robertson, Ph.D. has served 29 years as an educator as a teacher, a principal, a school district administrator, and state education agency director.  She currently serves as the Executive Director of School Improvement for the Mississippi Department of Education, where she oversees the supports provided to public schools in the state that have been identified as a school in need of support and improvement as determined by both state and federal legislation.
