Dr. Shelly Ellis is the Executive Director of School Support and Improvement at the Oklahoma State Department of Education. Prior to transitioning to the agency, Ellis served in various educational roles including principal, assistant principal, counselor, parent and community specialist, and science teacher. Before moving into the School Support Office, she served as the Executive Director of Counseling for the OSDE. Ellis serves on Superintendent Hofmeister’s Leadership Cabinet and as a member of the University of Oklahoma’s Dean of Education’s Advisory Council.
