Before joining Results for America, Shelby Rothstein Stanton spent three years as a Therapeutic Foster Parent Recruiter in Raleigh, NC. In this role, she worked to recruit, train, and onboard foster families while creating trusting relationships with both families and community partners. Prior to foster care recruitment, Shelby worked throughout the non-profit space for five years, including community centers and domestic violence intervention programs, developing interpersonal relationships with vulnerable clients while helping them reach their goals. Her approach includes developing opportunities for diverse candidates and understanding the backgrounds and experiences of potential applicants. She greatly enjoys connecting with coworkers and fostering positive relationships with prospective team members. Shelby holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Appalachian State University in North Carolina and a master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University in Bronx, New York.
