Salwa Majeed is the Manager of Policy, Federal Practice at Results for America. Prior to joining RFA, she served as Senior Manager of Government Affairs at Per Scholas, where she is proud to have pioneered the nonprofit’s national federal policy advocacy efforts across 20+ cities, with a deep focus around advancing economic mobility for workers, funding equitable career pathways for adults, and prioritizing evidence in skill-building programs.

Salwa brings deep experience in federally-funded programs, and has served in program, budget, and compliance roles in North Carolina since 2019, including with GuilfordWorks, local governments, and community-based organizations focused on serving immigrant and low-income populations.

Salwa holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies, both from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her career is driven by a passion for capacity-building, policy innovation, and systems change.
