Olivia Leonard is the Assistant Director for Federal Policy at Results for America. Prior to joining Results for America, Olivia worked on economic policy solutions as an independent consultant, at the American Council of Life Insurers, and in several congressional offices. Her focus at the American Council of Life Insurers was analyzing federal tax, retirement, and banking legislation. In the US House of Representatives, Olivia served as legislative director for Congressman Ruben Kihuen, a member of the House Financial Services Committee; she also was a fellow for Congresswoman Val Demings. Additionally, Olivia has worked for former Senate Leader Harry Reid and the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Before transitioning to public policy, Olivia was a teacher in Washington, DC. She has earned a Bachelor’s in Political Science from Virginia Tech, a Master’s in Education from Lynchburg University, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Georgetown University.
