Dr. Michael Tamborski is currently the Executive Director of Research and Data Quality for the Oklahoma Department of Education. His work primarily focuses on integrating state data systems and implementing data auditing and reporting processes to support high quality data-driven decision making at both the state and local level. He also facilitates collaborations between the agency and external research partners to support policy research. He was formerly the Executive Director of Accountability for Oklahoma, where he was responsible for ensuring the accuracy and validity of Oklahoma’s accountability reports. Dr. Tamborski has a Ph.D. in Social Psychology and an M.S in Experimental Psychology both from the University of Oklahoma. He received his B.S. in Psychology from Indiana University.
