Laney Umland is the Program Associate for Education at Results for America. Through her work, she helps state and local education leaders harness the power of data and evidence to positively impact the lives of students and communities. Prior to her role at RFA, Laney worked with the District of Columbia Public Schools, supporting students at both the school and district levels. Laney graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in history and holds a certification in secondary education. Originally from Washington State, Laney hopes to spend her time in DC and with Results for America bringing all levels of government together to improve outcomes for all.
