Jaime Gutierrez is currently serving as the Division Chief of the Central Office Workforce Services Division (COWSD) of the Employment Development Department (EDD). In this capacity, Mr. Gutierrez provides oversight and administration of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, Wagner-Peyser Act, and numerous other Federal and State programs. This includes the distribution of $400 million in federal funds to the 45 Local Boards and numerous Community Based Organizations throughout California. Mr. Gutierrez has dedicated his 20 year career to serving the people of California with EDD, however his passion lies ultimately with Workforce Services.
