Gregory Taylor is director of the Office of Research, Evaluation, and Advanced Analytics at the Ohio Department of Education. His office provides agency wide project support, oversight of external research partnerships, and manages the agency’s research agenda. Taylor received his bachelor’s degree in special education from the University of Cincinnati and his master’s in education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He started his career as a special education teacher before spending several years as a central office administrator at Dayton Public Schools, most recently as executive director of Data and Technology. Taylor has also consulted with large school districts, state departments of education, and other traditional and non-traditional education organizations across the country with program evaluation, data analytics, accessibility, and education policy.
