Gaston is the Manager, New Cities, for What Works Cities. Previously, he served as an Operations Analyst at the Inter-American Development Bank’s Social Protection and Labor Markets Division, where he coordinated the preparation of multi-country operations and advanced digital transformation initiatives to improve public services for vulnerable populations. He also developed tools to strengthen results monitoring and supported policy dialogues across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Before joining the IDB, as a Business Intelligence Specialist, Gaston led digital transformation and process improvement initiatives for public and private sector organizations. Originally from Argentina, he holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE) and a Master’s in International and Development Economics from the University of Applied Sciences-HTW Berlin.
