Emily Beamer

Manager, Measurement, Evaluation and Learning (MEL)


Emily Beamer is the Measurement, Evaluation, and Learning Manager at Results for America. Prior to joining the RFA team, Emily worked for various nonprofits focused on improving the health and well-being of communities. In her most recent role, Emily worked as the first Evaluation Specialist for the Capital Area Food Bank in Washington, D.C. In this role she was responsible for growing and managing the evaluation portfolio for the organization, building and standardizing data collection tools and reporting streams to understand impact, and supporting her colleagues to center data in the decision-making process. Throughout her academic and professional career, Emily has emphasized and advocated for centering community voices in program design and evaluation to ensure interventions and policies are most impactful for their beneficiaries.

Emily received her Master’s in Public Health from Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health and Bachelor’s in Psychology and Women’s and Gender Studies from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
