Elise Allari

Associate, Certification, What Works Cities

Elise Allari is an Associate with the What Works Cities Certification team. She previously served as an Assistant. She first participated in local government while serving on her city’s Bikes and Trails committee and has been a local government (and bike lane) enthusiast ever since. Prior to joining the team, Elise worked in politics and policy advocacy. At Movement Labs, she coordinated Census outreach volunteers in hard-to-reach communities and helped recruit first-time candidates in local city council and school board elections.

She is passionate about civic education and volunteers for her hometown We the People high school programs. A proud Californian, Elise graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in political science and art history.
