As the Manager of the Pueblo and Upper Arkansas Workforce Subareas, Diana Esquibel oversees workforce development efforts for five rural counties in the Colorado Rural Workforce Consortium (CRWC). After joining the CRWC in 2005, Diana worked with economic and workforce development collaboratives to implement business retention programs, industry sector partnerships, and apprenticeship expansion. Prior to joining the CRWC, Diana was an Information Technology Executive and technologist in aerospace, healthcare and insurance industries. She equates her experience leading up to and following Year 2000 (Y2K); combined with the rapid evolution of technology to the talent attraction and development challenges employers are facing today.
