Daniel Herrera

Director, Partnerships & Community Impact


Daniel Herrera is the Director of Partnerships and Community Impact at Results for America. He previously served as Director of the Opportunity Accelerator. Prior to joining RFA, Daniel served as a Government Innovation Fellow for the Harvard Kennedy School Government Performance Lab. In this role, he primarily supported the Opportunity Accelerator by providing programmatic and systemic technical assistance to City and County governments across several jurisdictions.

Additionally, Daniel has worked within local government and served as a Senior Advisor at the New York City Administration for Children’s Services (ACS). His portfolio of work included using human-centered design practices to enhance and optimize government and administrative services; he co-led the design and implementation of City Council mandates; and he actively managed vendor contracts with annual budgets of $250K – $1 million dollars.

Daniel graduated with a Master’s degree in Urban Policy & Management from The New School University. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Northern Iowa. He is based in San Antonio, Texas.
