Christy Gonzales is a manager in the Colorado Rural Workforce Consortium where she is recognized as a workforce development connector. Christy has over twenty years of experience in workforce development, both at the strategic and operational levels. Christy received the Exemplary Performer award at the 2020 Rocky Mountain Workforce Development Association Conference and was recognized by her colleagues as having “extraordinary innovation that has had a significant and positive impact on Colorado’s workforce system.” Christy has such a vast knowledge of the workforce ecosystem. By strategically positioning herself within numerous statewide committees and projects, she continually looks for ways to improve upon processes and excels at creating and implementing new processes. Christy’s positive impact has been felt across the State of Colorado; Colorado’s workforce system is a stronger and more cohesive system because of her efforts.
