Director of Policy, Women Employed

Director of Policy and Programs, leads Women Employed’s policy team focused on job quality, fair workplaces, and education & training career pathways policies. She joined Women Employed in 2007 bringing 15 years of experience in systems change in K-12 public education focused on school-based budgeting and school-based management. She has worked closely with leaders at City Colleges of Chicago to establish sector-based career pathways policies and programs to serve low-skilled adults and develop tools that are available for open use in the field, including bridge/IET programs and Career Foundations. She is Women Employed’s chief lobbyist in the City of Chicago focusing specifically on job quality issues including minimum wage, paid sick days, and fair scheduling.
