Amy serves as Deputy Director of Special Projects and Innovation in the Mayor’s Office of Innovation and Performance. Amy and her team manage large-scale and cross-departmental initiatives and develop creative approaches to delivering results on the Mayor’s priority initiatives, working closely with City departments, as well as external partners. Projects range from developing new revenue streams and cost-saving initiatives, to improving business services and streamlining departmental operations, to policy development. Before joining the City, Amy led communications and programs for the Atlanta Police Foundation, and prior to that, served as a Public Information Officer for the County of Santa Clara, California, both for the District Attorney’s Office and for the Public Health Department. She has a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Community and Regional Development from University of California, Davis.
