Adam Peck

Associate Director, Federal and State Communications

Adam Peck is the Associate Director for Federal and State Communications at Results for America. Prior to joining RFA, Adam spent more than a decade working in journalism and strategic communications in New York City and Washington, D.C. As a reporter and editor at MSNBC, ThinkProgress and the New Republic, he covered the re-election of Barack Obama, the epidemic of gun violence, and the 2020 campaigns of Elizabeth Warren and Pete Buttigieg. Most recently as deputy director of production at POLITICO, he helped lead the publication’s coverage of the 2024 elections, as well as a wide range of policy areas.

In between newsroom jobs Adam worked in strategic communications, first at the Center for American Progress, then at a small firm working with clients including centers at Harvard and Johns Hopkins Universities, the Knight Foundation, and the Committee to Protect Journalists.

Originally from New York, Adam moved to Washington, D.C. in 2012 shortly after graduating from Stony Brook University. He now lives in the NoMA neighborhood of D.C. with his husband Kyle and dog Nellie. When he’s off the clock, you’ll probably find him on a run around the city, at wrestling practice with the club he manages, or taking bar trivia way too seriously.
