Helping Shift $1.84 Billion in Education Resources Toward What Works

Results for America has also helped shift nearly $1.84 billion toward evidence-based solutions in FY16 through 10 competitive grant programs at the U.S. Department of Education.   • Student Support Services Program ($303.8 million in FY16);
  • Talent Search Program ($155 million in FY16); Upward Bound ($275 million in FY16);
  • Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institutions Program ($3.3 million in FY16);
  • Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian-Serving Institutions Program ($13.8 million in FY16);
  • Native American-Serving Nontribal Institutions Program ($3.3 million in FY16);
  • Hispanic-Serving Institutions ($207.7 million);
  • National Professional Development Program ($42.1 million in FY16);
  • Educational Technology, Media ($30 million in FY16);
  • Innovative Approach to Literacy Programs (IAL) ($27 million in FY16); and
  • Magnet Schools Assistance Program (MSAP) ($96.6 million in FY16).
