Zachary Coile

Zachary Coile is Vice President of Strategic Communications at Results for America. Zac has worked for more than two decades as a journalist, senior Capitol Hill adviser and media strategist. As a national political reporter and Washington correspondent for the San Francisco Chronicle,  he covered three presidential elections, Nancy Pelosi’s rise to House Speaker, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s election as California Governor, and the 9/11 terrorist attacks. He got his start in journalism at the San Francisco Examiner, where he worked as a technology writer covering Silicon Valley and a “night cops” reporter. From 2009 to 2016, he served as Communications Director for U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA), helping to craft communications strategy on issues including health care, education, immigration, foreign policy and the environment. A native Californian, he received his B.A. and M.S.J. from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
