Associate Director, Strategy and Operations, What Works Cities
Ashleigh Naada Cooper is currently the Associate Director of Strategy & Operations at Results for America, supporting Bloomberg Philanthropies’ What Work Cities initiative. In her role, she works across multiple disciplines driving strategy, building frameworks and structure solutions to ensure growth and efficiency. Prior to joining the team, Ashleigh served as a 2018 Africa Business Fellow, where she led strategy development and product ideation to increase financial services across sub-Saharan Africa.
Ashleigh has over a decade of experience developing and managing programs that address social and economic challenges. Previously, Ashleigh was a Program Manager, Corporate Citizenship with IBM, where she implemented their flagship education and workforce initiative, P-TECH. She also worked at The Corporate Council on Africa, promoting trade and investment in health, technology and financial services. In addition, she worked with various global health and education nonprofits focused on social impact across cities in the U.S. and Africa.
She holds a Master of Science in Social Work degree from Columbia University in social enterprise and international social welfare and a bachelor’s degree from Temple University.
