In partnership with the Congressional What Works Caucus, Results for America invites you to attend the "Using Data and Evidence to Reopen Business and Recover Job After COVID-19" on Tuesday, July 7, 2020.
Our country is facing an historic economic crisis. The unemployment rate is 13% and almost 43 million people have filed for unemployment since the COVID-19 health crisis began. Small businesses are struggling to stay afloat. State and local governments are seeking unprecedented levels of support from the federal government. Although everyone is suffering, the biggest impact is being felt by communities of color. Recovering from this crisis will require getting people back to work safely and quickly. Data and evidence can help us identify and employ the safest and most effective methods for returning people to work and reopening businesses, helping communities and our government build back better.
Join U.S. Reps. Ben McAdams (D-UT) and Jackie Walorksi (R-IN), co-chairs of the bipartisan Congressional What Works Caucus, and panel of federal, state, and private sector workforce leaders for a timely and thoughtful conversation about data and evidence-based methods to rebuild our workforce and small business community safely, quickly, and effectively.
The panel will feature welcoming remarks by U.S. Representative Ben McAdams (D-UT) & U.S. Representative Jackie Walorski (R-IN).
